[Anime] Death Note

I don't think Death Note went down hill after L died because of Near. Light *cough, cough* Iamgay, I mean Yagmai became stupid and a albino kid (Near) that never saw the light of day just happened to become lucky that Light took stupid pills every morning after L died. Overall though, to me, it was a great anime that wasn't surronded on action and confusing storylines.

I watched Death Note the whole way through and I enjoyed it until L died. Near was good in his own right, but he was more creepy than intriguing. As far as mello he was obviously an underdog and didn't have any real skill. I give him props for trying though.
Light or Kira was by far the best character in the series. He was almost one step ahead and pulled grander stunts with more courage than L. Sorry to all you L fans. Though L made Kira a better and more vicious villan.
