Well after looking for a few hours and coming up blank i decided to do the next best thing. Ask. I guess I should list some I like and watched. Oh and movies work too.

Ooh ohh! I got one!

Try Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan, or just Gurren Laggan for short. Awesome series, amusing characters, mechs abound! At the end, mechs bigger than galaxies THROW galaxies like shurikens! XD

Dragon Ball Z is a standard all should watch. Alot of peoples firsts (mine included).

And try Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz or any of the other Gundams. 0083 in particular (My fave :P).

Edit: Samurai 7 is a great one too.
