Laptops and School
« on: August 23, 2008, 12:37:29 AM »
I am just wanting to know how many people on this site bring their laptop to school with them and also does you school have a problem with you bringing your laptop.

I personally bring mine every day and use it almost all day and the school has no problem with it.

I will most likely not bring my soon-to-be-getting laptop too school, for reasons other than the school having a problem with it, wich I don't think they do.

I have a touchscreen laptop, and while I was browsing the internet at lunch, the cop politely asked, "What are you doing? Oh, you're drawing with it, ok," and left me alone.

I bring my laptop to school every day, and I never have any problems.
I just keep Open office up, so that I can pretend I'm working on a school project or something.

I didn't take my laptop to school as I couldn't trust it enough was a bad school, but the school did provide their own laptops for us anyway.

If I had a laptop I would bring it to skool for one day just to show of (because I'm jerk sometimes). After that It's staying home. There's too many kids that would TRY to steal, touch, break, or use it. *Slaps hands* Hands Off!

Well, seeing how I'm home schooled on my computer I have to ring it with me....but if i did go to school I wouldn't bring it. To many kids with grabby and dirty hands.

No one in my school can survive a few minutes of a lesson without a working laptop. :P
My school is the first ever school in Singapore to fully use laptops as lesson materials, but it's rather ironic that the wireless network there is terrible when every single person in school are using the internet at the same time. (And in my school; no wireless network = no lessons :D )

Not at my school, no.
Never.
It'd be gone before I stepped on the bus.
