I've integrated The Ninja's Hideout with StumbleUpon's Supr link shortening service. Before you go all crazy, let me explain what exactly it means for us. First of all, the service that was driving our feeds to
@WhatNinja on twitter just hasn't been working right lately. Supr has it's own RSS posting service and it seems to be working better, so updates on twitter should now be more reliable and more prompt. Here comes the fun part: All *internal* pages of The Ninja's Hideout can now be shortened to an easy to remember link. For example, I can shorten this page to
http://whatninja.com/hrdB instead of
http://whatninja.com/index.php/topic,753.0.html. This will automatically be done on twitter posts, but if you want to shorten a post immediately, bookmark this link:
[Right-click and bookmark!] Whenever you're on a page here at TNH, just access that bookmark and you'll be able to shorten the link!
Some of you may not be interested in this at all, but I thought it was a neat concept, so I decided to install it.
