It's been a long time since I last wrote a anime review. I've been slacking immensely and have only watched two animes this month.
I'll start out with Pani Poni Dash.
Pani Poni Dash
Looking for a crazy, fast paced show with tons of cute girls, a talking rabbit, and a insanely random storyline?
Well you've found it. Pani Poni Dash follows a new teacher, Miyamoto Rebecca, as she teaches a class of screwed up children. Here's the catch though....she's only ten. Just coming back from America where she graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she lands a job teaching class
1-c.
So far so normal.....well hate to say it but in the first episode your thrown a curveball of crazies. You meet about 20 characters, a talking rabbit, and....god...played by a cat who loves to "Drink warm sodas...warmed by his own body heat."
Through this whirl-wind of characters and a talking bunny you begin to laugh, just laugh and smile and the small details. I've never seen an anime with so many small details yet those small details almost make the anime itself. I can't even begin to describe how funny it is when you meet the cat, or god.
Becky the "Kid Teacher" is a normal 10 year old child. She over reacts, gets scared and no matter what pouts until she either gets condolence or is pushed into the corner to cry. She wraps up the whole package in a colorful ob-longed bow of craziness. So go watch it and thank me later....

Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning
A long time ago I wrote about one of my first and foremost favorite animes. Spiral, what can I say, is one of the most amazing series I have ever seen. It continues to amaze me with every bit of detail and so on. First, I have to say it, this anime really reminds me of real life. It shows the struggles of people, how everyone is in the shadow of another, and that everyone is just trying to get by.
Ayumu Narumi is just a normal boy, always shadowed by his older brother. Following the disappearance of his older brother how ever.....things begin to happen. The mysterious "Blade Children" that his older brother went to pursue. The blade children always seem to come up. Ayumu one day solves a case about a young girl that falls from the top of a building. This however throws him completely into the world of the blade children.
No matter where you are in this anime one question always arises! Who are the blade children? We may never know but as we follow Ayumu Narumi's struggles and his fight to stand out from his brother we find one thing out. Ayumu Narumi is not like his brother.
Now like I said above, this is and always will be my favorite anime. It captures the true essence of life yet throwing in the freedom of fiction. Watch it and truly be amazed......
