Well after years of worshiping the movie "The Fountain" I think I've found my next best pick. Simply put as "Sunshine."
I'll be shifting from anime to movies for this post so deal with meh. Here weh goooo
When we awake each day we are greeted with the sun...in the distant future man is faced with a dying sun. How will man kind ever continue to grow? By restarting the sun. After the first failed attempt 8 astronauts are sent into the deep of space carrying a payload large enough to start the sun. Though they have seen the unsuccessful attempt before them they push on. The movie brings you through the inner demons of the astronauts and the ones they must also face. The movie focuses mainly on their ability to cope with the chance of death and how it drives them forward. The story will touch others while bore many. You must simply finish the movie to truly take in and process everything. I can't really go into detail as I'm still taking it all in. I do wish one thing, the soundtrack was a little lacking but still good. Soooo
