Anime and Manga / Clannad
« Last post by pyro1082 on August 25, 2010, 10:50:21 PM »It's been such a long time since I've written a review, partly due to me getting a life other than the computer
In my free time at night I was able to watch one of the first anime's in a LONG time. SO here it is my new review!
Tomoya Okazaki, just your average high school delinquent...or is there more to him that meets the eye? The story starts out with a our lone Tomoya walking to school where by chance he meets a young girl. Not much is said between the two, yet the few words spark a friendship to span a whole series. The young girl, Nagisa Furukawa, is actually a year older yet was held back a year. She describes a life of sorrow becuase many of her old friends graduated. Over the series friendships grow and new characters are introduced to produce the classic school/romance anime I love.
What I liked so much about this anime is that it was always introducing some new character or obstacle for the main characters to over come. It kept a fresh feeling to the series. The episodes can be described as short stories yet they seem to fit all together some how. With tons of characters there's no telling what could happen next...anything from a giant bunny to ear destroying music. This anime is truly an entertaining one. Plus I love both the opening and closing songs....particularity THE BIG DANGO FAMILY!!!
